When you walk into Three Dog Bakery your mouth might start to water. The air is full of warm, cozy scents that make you want to order a cinnamon roll and coffee. But this bakery and all the delicious cakes, cookies and treats are for dogs (although there is coffee for the two-legged fans).

Born out of a love for baking, Three Dog Bakery launched at The Shoppes at River Place in 2017. But it actually started before that at the Three Dog Bakery on Monroe Street in Toledo. Lynn Riehle spent a lot of time baking for her future sister-in-law’s location. Lynn and her boyfriend, Ron, tied the knot right before purchasing the Perrysburg location, which they built-out themselves.

While the Monroe location has since closed, Three Dog Bakery in Perrysburg has been thriving. They have recently been voted the Most Pet-Friendly Business and the Best Place to Get Stuff for your Pet by the Best of Perrysburg. This is a testament to their efforts as a great community partner, and their natural, healthy items for dogs (and even cats!).

Three Dog Bakery is friend and trusted partner to several local pet organizations like Planned Pethood, Dogworks, the Lucas County Pit Crew and more. They also get involved with a lot of dog-friendly events like Bark in the Park, the Paw Hurrah, and the Whiteford Fall Festival. Now that it’s warmer, they’ve also been the starting location for pack walks the 2nd Sunday of every month, where dogs and their owners go for group walks and return for treats.

Looking for natural, healthy food and treat options for your pet? Three Dog Bakery has it! They have brands like Dr. Marty’s, Primal and Rawbble. One of their best sellers is the bulk dog treats in the most delectable flavors even you’d want to sample! Indeed, all their treats are human-grade. Which brings us to the bakery items!

Three Dog Bakery makes special order cakes – including gender reveal cakes so your dog can help unveil the surprise! They makes cookies, pupcakes and dog-safe ice cream called, Lickity Split. The items are seasonal, which is a testament to Lynn’s creativity. One very cool section of the store included celebration items for a special “pawty” for your pet with party hats, bandannas and even edible cards.

They have plenty of in-house events too, like photo booths with Santa or the Easter Bunny, adoption events, birthday or pet art parties and walk-in nail trims.

It’s easy to see how much Lynn and her team love what they do. Seeing the dogs come in and get excited about the toys and treats is the best part. They are always sharing cute doggie photos on their Facebook page.

If you want to spoil your dog (or cat!), you’ll want to visit Three Dog Bakery at The Shoppes at River Place. It will become your dog’s favorite place to go!
